A Commit2Clay Seal is a promise that an establishment meets safety and sanitation standards as designated by the Clay Chamber that can be displayed on an establishment’s door and advertised to consumers.
The Clay Chamber’s Certification program, Commit2 Clay begins October 1 for businesses other than hotels and restaurants. This program provides businesses in other sectors to be recognized as providing a safer environment to conduct business.
Clay County has received funds pursuant to the CARES Act. The Clay Chamber seeks to assist 1,000 local businesses with publicizing that the business is open in Clay County, serving customers and is taking steps to protect the public in order to do business, while mitigating the risks associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Guidelines for the Commit 2 Clay Certification Include:
The Clay Chamber is accepting applications for eligible CARES Act expenditures made as a result of COVID-19 from businesses located in Clay County that apply for and receive the Commit2Clay Seal. A business that applies and qualifies for this grant will receive $250.00 for personal protective equipment (PPE) or cleaning supplies. The business will also receive a Best Practices Toolkit to help uphold COVID-19 protocols.
